If I told you a date or even a time frame I would be lying. I do know that we're working to do it as efficiently as I know how. I am as excited as anyone to get the info out!!

I would look at the previous years Carpet nats and start planning on that (lots of blinky and a couple open mod classes). I know Andrew and I have talked about the classes a bunch and it seems to be just waiting on roar to finalize the whole thing.

I can't begin to tell you how pumped I am. The Carpet Nats are coming to our Home Track!

It's been suggested I should be the go-to-guy for questions regarding set-up and driving style,
due to domination in the last couple club races.

Just having a bit of fun boys. Club Racers should have their chance to gloat, yes?

I know in reality... The Nats will humble this "Old Man".
Nothing would please me more than to end up deep in the Mains, due to all the Great Carpet Racers showing up for our Event.

I'm hoping Scotty Ernest can find time in his very busy schedule to make it.
Heard he was a pretty good racer and he mentioned trying to come by our track for some TC action.
I'm looking for an "Epic Battle", an achievable goal. I think I can beat him.

Is it too soon to lobby for 17.5 and 13.5 blinky sedan like paved nats? The track looks to be the same size. 21.5 sedan is zZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz boring.

Classes are pretty close to being worked out we think. Obviously we'll be racing Mod 12th and Mod Sedan. Small details about motors in the slower classes for sedan and pan cars are all thats left to nail down. I know there is interest in F1 in several pockets around the country. I have a pretty good feel for the strength of F1 regionally; what's the feel across the country for F1 at a National event? Would people travel to race F1?

Andrew,

Any word on VTA yet? Whichever motor we have to run (21.5 or 25.5), I will be there. Hopefully it is 25.5 because I believe we will get more drivers nationally with the current USVTA rule set. Unfortunately ROAR has not updated their rules to reflect the current VTA rules (still using 21.5). They may require a 21.5 motor which will limit entries. Since it is an exhibition class maybe ROAR will let us run 25.5
