Chassis milling
 

I am as green as the grass at Lambeau when it comes to carpet. I raced dirt oval 15 years ago and off-road nitro last year. Now I am trying carpet. I just received my TC3 FT in the mail and will begin assembling tommorrow (what a great week to get laid-off!) I hear guys talking about "the chassis is milled for carpet racing". Can anyone explain this and give me some tips on assembling the car. I know about releaving the bearings and such from electric dirt oval. Anything special I should know? Thanks for your help.

How much rigidity is lost with moving the batteries? I've been wanting to do this to my TC3 but just haven't.... I think I'm going to now....

Any other mods??? I've looked at that site numerous times....

You do loose a little rigidity with the mod and it worse for the carpet than asphalt. But you gain so much more in weight balance and transition speed its a good tradeoff.
