Thanks.
I first built my M-05 Pro using the stock black chassis but switched as soon as the red chrome version was released. It's mint and as new.

thanks, but I don't want to spend any more $ for now. I will pursue this convention in the future. How much where you asking?

You posted that you were looking for a black chassis in trade for your Spec version, hence my reply. If you are interested in an even swap then send me a PM and we'll go from there.

I have the ABC Mitsubishi Colt body for my Genetic and also used it on my M-05 Pro. You will have to trim the wheel arches larger to accomodate the 60D tires, since the Genetic originally came with 55D slick tires. A front bumper is also good to have, to fill the large space on the front of the chassis. 3Racing has it for the M-05, but it's not very durable. SQUARE might have something available, but they are quite pricey.

Tamiya makes quite a few m chassis bodies, did you take a look at them?

I've ran / raced M03, M04, M05, and M06. Bodies I used were mini cooper (old and new school), honda s800, miata, honda s2000, bmwZ4, porsche boxter, fiat 500, fiat abarth, alfa romeo guilia, mazda rx7, and nissan 240z.

I think you'll like the bodies that Tamiya make

I should have said "I had". That ABC Colt body already RIP, along with the 3R front bumper. The front bumper cracked at the mounting bracket from an impact. I never replaced the bumper and switched to a Mini Cooper body. This bumper can also be used with the Tamiya Suzuki Swift 225mm body. Here is a link for the 3Racing front bumper.

I just picked up the 3R bumper.. I think I'll cut the backside to match up with the stock bumper and glue it together.

What kind of glue are you going to use? It has to be some really strong glue, to withstand a strong impact.

Default UPDATE

Ok guys,

I ordered the following:

MA05 spec
Alum. Racing Steering Set
Alum. Steering Link
Alum. Motor mount
Alum. Steering turnbuckles
Low friction King Pins

Now just need some Alum. M-chassis dampers, although the ones on the spec kit are the same but in plastic correct?
Also the Spec chassis can be made to run the short and long mini bodies correct?

Like I said a few pages back, you're negating the bonus of the S-Spec kit by running the medium and long wheelbase.

Look in the Mini Cooper thread for more info.

I remember the post . Im just asking to know generally.
so from your response I am imagining that you can run all chasis lengths
.

What is the wheel base of the short config?
