Straight from Frank Calandra's mouth for all CRC pan cars...the JR3650. Apparently, Frank had input into the design of this servo.

I do also like the KO PDS-951 with somewhat more torque for WGT; but, it is expensive and weighs more than the JR3650. Its greater torque was very good for my original Gen-X 10 when I ran the heavier "rocket ship" 2S cells configuration.

Both servos return back to center very nicely.

The shorty pack is legal for all classes of 1s racing. This car can be used with the shorty pack or the full size pack, inline or conventional, stock, super stock or mod. This car can do it all.

There are multiple servos that work with the car. JR, KO, Futaba and Hitec all have servos that fit.

I used to use the Futaba S9650 and still think it's a great servo, but I'm now a total JR Z3650 convert even though I have to get them shipped over to the UK. Best 12th servo I have ever used. To be honest you can't go wrong with either.

The more compact sizing of the JR3650 might have something to do with that statement.
