No problem, Carl .
Arun, for the 4200's, should i set the delta peak at 10, or move it down to 3?

thanks

another question: will i be doing the batteries an injustice by using a fan while they are charging? i have noticed that when i am charging using the new battery heatsink with the fans, the temps on the pack hover around 83 deg F. As soon as the cycle completes, the temps rise (i didn't use a temp gun the last time i charged, but i am waiting for the current cycle to finish up,and i'll post the temps)

i know heat is the enemy, but i remember somebody telling me that you want the batteries to heat up, just not to the extreme

thanks again

sorry for the multi posts!

my 4200's cut out at 3988 (when charging on my GFX, i was getting about 45-4600mah)

i'm guessing it was because the delta peak was at 3 - should i bump this up to 10 or so?

also, after sitting for 5 minutes after the peak, the temp only went up to 97 degrees.

thanks for the help guys

the diff b/w 3mv and 10mv peak is prob about 30secoinds of extra charging, so wont make muchh diff.

the diff in charege level is effected by how empty the cells was when u started.

anyway i hope you mean your cells r at 90deg F (not celcius), if so then yes you can increase the delta peak more....

Tonight when I was at the track, one of my two purple cell masters went bad. I tried to hit the stop button when the pack is done and there was a static spark when I touch the case, the screen went balastic. I shut it off and turn it back on and all was normal again BUT the voltage reading, it is reading a 4 cells pack at 80.xxx volts. What to do?

Try and factory reset first. See if that fixes the problem.

Did that many times, everything else works fine and it charges fine too. Just the voltage reading that is messed up, I think something is burnt up inside? Anybody have this problem before?

dont fret, the charger just needs to recalibrate the voltage measurements.

yes, 90 deg F. I used my CTX-D and pulse discharged, then linear discharged another 4200 SHV pack today and charged up on my GFX and got 4568 out of it.

i don't know why my CTX-C won't fully charge up my 4200's

any suggestions?

thanks

Nice. They would match my Schumacher car. I have the black ones. The purple would be nice if my new black chargers didn't work. Working on a purple power supply though and a few other purple things from MM.
