Usually, you can't notice them that much at the track. At home, though...yes, they are more on the loud than quiet side .

This is because the CM was developed primarily for use at the track (with its small size, auto repeak functions, etc). Because of its small size, the charger has a smaller heatsink that needs high-rpm fans to stay cool. This is comparable to a Turbo 35, for example, that has a really big heatsink and, consequently, lower-rpm fans.

edit- I guess keithander is a few seconds quicker than me, lol.

Dont use a fan when charging. You risk over-charging the pack and it venting.

Why do you want to charge your cell-phone with the charger? I would stick with the wall charger.

Unless you know the number of cells in your cell phone battery I would not try it.

You should not have a fan on the batteries while you charge. You actually want them to heat up to a certain extent. This is one of the great features of the CM in that it will cut off if your cells get too hot but assuming ambient is less then 85 I would just let them heat up on there own. They will discharge harder when warm.

It is not worth the risk of blowing up the battery IMO.

I second that. Not worth the risk of blowing up your battery or cell master.
