I just slip the temp probe between the battery bar and the cells.

I bought an 1/8th inch diameter rare earth magnet from radio shack, CAREFULLY removed the old shrink wrap and put the megnet on the temp probe and reshrink wrapped. The magnet is not powerful enough to go through the shrink tube. I tried again with the magnet sticking out a little bit and this work OK. Not really the "stick" I was hoping for. Not sure what I am doing wrong?

I need to upgrade to another charger, is everyone happy with this charger? Any major benefits over the Orion Advantager charger? I was thinking of the Spintec ICC but I heard it might be around $400, too pricey for me. Thanks ahead for the feedbacks.

This is a great charger! The only downfall is no motor run in but as far as charging your cells goes this is one of the best on the market.

Hi Gary,

There's some great profiles right here on this forum, you can also try these:
NexusRacing
MuchMoreUK
MuchMoreKorea

There's also some basic profiles to get you started in the instruction manual.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Keith.

Default Long Lock Out

Hi,

To set-up Long Lock Out, just hold down the < key for 2 seconds, then you can change the time relating to LLO.

To activate, hold down the > key for 3 seconds when you start to charge.

For more information, see page 4 and 6 of the user manual here...

CTXC user manual

Other ways to enable Long Lock Out can be seen here:

Long Lock Out

The peak lockout is active for steps 1 and 2 when step charging. You have to set it for a specified time for normal peak charging.

Who has the lowest price online for this charger...I saw it at RCMart for $153, but with $20 shipping. Rather buy it from a retailer within the states. It's odd that the price is so much higher here in the states for this charger.
