I have good setting for 6cell, 1,200mAh battery pack for Mini 18T.

New battery pack tends to false-peak for the first few times.

LongLockOut will prevent false peak. 20minutes will work fine.
Try 1.2A, 6mV Temp cut 40deg.C

Dishcharge, try 0.5A cut off at 4.8V.

Thanks,

Ryan

I just received my second Much More Cell Master which I believe is the latest version as it came factory with a magnet on the temperature sensor!

Good job Ryan, now where I can get that replacement magnet for my old cell master?

Those wires are for measuring voltage. MMR, as well as a few other manufacturers, keeps this wire seperate from the main wire with the charging current.

Are those magnets available to upgrade older temp probes?

I had a chance to use a friends charger and they do make things a little easier.

I Just got 2 of the cell masters, and I'm thankfull for the articles on Nexus site. However I'm still wondering what is the best way to atach the temp prove to the cells if yours didn't come with magnets?

For me, I place the temp sensor under the battery pack when charging. Another method for me is to place a small piece of strapping tape on the sensor and stick it to the battery. I can use that piece of strapping tape whole day.

I usually just rest mine under a cell. It works fine that way but never did the tape...thanks for the idea!

Thanks guys!

Also I bought 2 CM's It seams that when I checked the temp readings with my IR temp gun One is very close to the same readings the other is of by like 10deg ( it reads cooler than the temp gun) I was wondering if anyone had experienced this?

I have just been sticking the temp sensor between cells. I have my batteries side by side and just wedge it between the two middle cells. I am planning on adding a magnet though. Need to see what Radio Shack has since that has ben suggested earier.
