BTW, I've tried the same 3 phase charge setup with 4 cells, it did completed the charge process BUT during the 2nd phase the CM continuously playing the tune when you start the charge.

Please send the unit LHS where you bought it.

Other than you managing to blow it up how's the charger been?
I'm lurking in this thread because I'm planning on getting one. I specifically need a charger that can charge Lithium cells.

Ryan/James Kim - I just picked up one of these Cell Masters from my LHS to replace my big and bulky Turbo 35BL and had a few questions. I've quickly looked over the manual and see that there are 2 charging methods. Within those 2 methods there are 3 profiles correct? I'd like to use this to charge 5 cell receiver packs as well as my normal 6 cell race packs. Are the profiles stored in memory even after I power down the charger?

yes...set it to charge, 3 cell, if you have the 3PK pack charge it a 1amp

And if you have a ko/M8 pack charge at .5 amp

1.remove heat shirink carefulley.
2.attach strong and small magnetic on the nickel plate.
3.Wrap it with heat shrink tube.

Note: we will not service the probe if you broke by this modification

If it is a KO Propo helios pack, then go with .5 amps

I've seen a few charge profiles on the web. Is there a common place where charge profiles are listed? Maybe we can list them here.....

I have a CTX Cell Master thats about 2 weeks old. This weekend, the displayed went nuts. Not all the characters display. It is very random, but always screwed up. This happened while a battery was charging. After powering down the charger, it still has the same problems.

Anyone else seen this ? I suppose it has to be sent back for repairs....arggggggggg!
