Any reviews??
My LHS just received one, and if I hear some favourable replies I think I'd be the 1st to own it in my area!
They are not the same charger.
I've had the Orion D67, the Eagle CDC and the Robitronic.
The Robi and the D67 had the same software for sure
The Eagle looks like this Cell Master.... till you have one in your hand.
It's much smaller, the software is way more friendly, with more options and apart from the similarity in shape they are not at all the same equipement.
Two years ago they had one that had the old casing and looked just like the one you mention right now, specs are the same too.
Orion discontinued the one bud now it is in a new casing and usb support for pc.
They all come arround.
Orion D67 charger is the same as Robitronic Expert charger

Hi Erwin,
Have a look at the user manual download for the ctx v1 here.......
Just go to the 'products' section and under 'Much-More' click on chargers. There are many new features such as Lithium Polymer charging and new charging algorithms.

Still,,,,, looks like the old Orion with some new features.
Bud sure poly charge is a total different thing.
Bud there's a IC in it, and you can see the red and black small wires those are for poly charge control.
And those look like to be added later, imean it's to fragile to me.
those kind of products should be fool proof, and this one isn't.
it's not that difficult to make a large and small wire in one tubing and still tobe flexible. Bud if you enable new features in A ic contrlled charger.. somtimes you have to ad some thing's.
I could be wrong, bud in my opinion you better buy a good 12v 1-10 amps charger, discharge tray(Trinity) and a on it self poly charger (those things are still very much under construction).

I personaly use the Robitronic Expert charger with software 2.01
Batt's Fukuama's 115 and 118
Charging linear at 5 or 6 amps heats at 5 finals at 6.
I did use the special feature 2 4 6 9 amps charging, this is mad the power you get but my budget is limited (batt's suffer a lot with this kind of charging). Bud there is then much more power.
I get very good results.
And in europe the charger is not that expensive 135€ (about 150$).
I'm not that good in driving(too less time to practice), so all the tech thing have tobe perfect to gain some time
And i have a limited budget so i'm searging the net for the best stuff for thr best prices and read all the reverences.
With the expert and batts i get about 7 min. driving on a mod Corally pro10 (c10/x) with orion chrome modified 12t2 and a rollout of 36mm/rev. cirquit is large Technical asphalt ( http://www.evmc.nl ) it's 265 mtrs long and lap time are around 16 seconds.(remember the c10/x is a heavy car) that's average speed of around 60 km/u!!! 16.5625 mtrs/s.
Erwin
I hope i did wake you all, those goodies are nice bud what's allabout speed and fun right?
Oh yea what i don't like about the Robitronic there is no motor tester in it!!

Cell Master is our own first charger,
Of course we do not make CDC or Orion's charger.
CM's case is same as Motor master.
Small red and black wires are for voltage reading which is same with Turbo GFX's and CDC's.
That means there is no volt -drop(accurate reading is possible) caused by wire risistance.

You can try what i did.
1/3 (2000mAh) = 7 amps
2/3 (3000mAh) = 6 amps
3/3 (3600mAh) = 4.5 amps
As you can see, i end it with 4.5 amps so it doesnt heat up that cells that much. You can try it. It still manage to give a better run time.
Tried this baby and I must say it is very easy to operate and charges without a single problem at all....... NiMH, Nicd, new cell, old cell........every pack gets charged perfectly !! ........just as efficient as my GFX.....but much smaller. ...good buy I must say.
