It should work great with that P/S. Is there a switch on the P/S to convert between 12V and 14V? What is the error message?
No switch on my power supply to convert volts, just an on/off switch. It is a Radio Shack 25 amp 13.8VDC Power Supply. The error message is "Supply Error Check Voltage".
This is the CTX without the updated magnet temperature sensor. I am thinking that the original units have this problem. My Andy Moore Edition motor checker does not have this voltage problem at all.
Do any of you have the same power supply and use an updated version of the CTX Charger?
Hi I hope someone can help I have a Futaba 3VCS and I have just bought a rechargeable pack of cells to go in it 8 x 2400mAh pack (1.2v Per Cell) with futaba radio plug fitted, I need to know what settings I should use to charge this pack using my Cell Master?

I normally use 1.0 amp, 3mv and capacity set at a thousand more than the rated mah on the pack (e.g 2400 + 1000 = 3400 mah for peak charge). I'm not quite shore if my amp rate is the preferred rate. Some I've seen charge at 1.25 to 1.5 amps per cell. With my setting it almost takes 2 hrs to charge my pack and the same to discharge.
Hope this gives you an idea or maybe someone else can provide a better setting than mine.

Does any Much More technical representative visit this thread? I have a CTX Cell Master in need of repair and I need to send it in. It's got the no clip error message, and I tried a factory reset and it's still a problem. I tried calling them at their number at 604-270-1687, but no answer. I bought the unit used off of RCTech, and over a year ago, so it would not be in warranty. Does Muchmore offer repairs for their products out of warranty?

Check your charging lead (alligator clip), make sure the big and small wire not loose. If it's ok. Then open the case, disconnect display socket, check the wires at back of PCB.
If the symptom, start to charging, but the voltage going up until >12volts and error message appears (I forget the error message), then 100% surely the small wire broken or not connected to alligator clip.
