i have try'd it on a battery and my p.s .i dont get any error message it will charge ok on 1 cell 2,3,4,5,6 cell it wont charge above .7-1.1 amps
Huh, you are talking about the CTX-C right, I think something is getting lost in translation, "i have try'd it on a battery and my p.s." have tried what? A charging cycle? How do you know it isn't charging at more than 1amp? There is no amp output meter on the CTX-C, all you do is set the amp value on the profile and start the charging cycle. Where are you finding the value for the amp output on the charging cycle? Also what charging profile are you using (i.e. Peak, Step, CTX)? If you are charging Nimh you should be using the Peak charging profile. I'm sorry if this comes off as sarcastic, it wasn't meant to, just trying to get more info.

how does the silent charger compare the the cell master series, im looking into getting a new charger and the much more product looks very nice. currently ill only be using the nimh features, but maybe lipo in the future.

If you will mostly be using Nimh I would get a Cell Master they are one of if not the best strickly Nimh chargers on the market (yes I know they do lipo but it is at 1 amp, which is fine for reciver or transmitter packs). In the future if you decide to get a couple Lipo batts you can always pick up a Lipo specific charger like the avionics or the Much More Racing Li Pocket Charger

well, im just getting into racing so i don't need a crazy good charger, as im still working on putting all the power to the ground, but what advantages does the cell master have over the silent version, and does the price difference justify it?
when using my Marc Rheinhard Edition CTX Cell master, i get a "Check Clip" error message if i try to discharge. i have 2 of theses chargers, but only 1 gives me the error. any ideas as to what could be the problem??

Then I would recommend the Team Checkpoint TC1030, it is basically a Duratrax Ice with a backlight screen, and higher discharge ratings, it does lipo at up to 6amps I belive, well worth the money. I am getting a TC1030 as a second charger

I have never used mine to discharge, I would try and get a hold of James at MMR USA, first instinct would be something is loose, but if it charges fine then I am not sure.
