my 2 cents on the X: Feels much better around corners without having to find the smallest of sweet spots like the 417.
Just a few, actually 3 (camber, camber links and shock position), settings away from box stock gave me, imho , a tangibly (maybe 50-70%) better turning car than my previous 417.
Couldn't be happier.

WOW...sound promising.

I wonder how it works on carpet tracks....maybe to flexible?

IMO, setting up for carpet use will be somewhat troublesome but not entirely impossible

I would think you could put the bar back in the motor mount to make it stiffer. that might help on carpet.

I hope to get the stiff Exotek chassis for my 417 at Xmas to try.

I run the the exotec xh chassis this weekend on carpet didnt change anything on my setup just to see the differnce .. Right of the bat the car pushed alot off throttle so right away i put on the my cut top deck on car was alot better but still not enough flex to keep the car planted played around with some droop and got the car working well posted my best run of the season so far ..... so i figure the x will be fine on carpet worst case scenario is to throw the original 417 top deck on run the full motor mount and car should be great dont worry to much guys .

Got TQ and win with my 417X at our national race (Manila Touring Car Championships) over the weekend. Couldn't be happier with this car.
