Hi RCGuy. Our Track is The Track @ Harbor Hobbies. We are up in Winthrop Harbor (almost Wisconsin!). Website is Harbor-Hobby.net. The carpet is 90-ish by 36. We run sedan (17.5 blinky), vta, mini, 1/12 etc. I don't want to hi-jack this thread, so if you have any questions send me a pm or contact Eric at the shop.

Yep, me! tried every oil thickness you can think of, none are thick enough, use cleaning putty to bog down the gears, its not got as much pull out of the corners as a spool but a little easier on the drive train and easier to drive, you need to try it for yourself to know if you like it or not.

turnbuckles
Hi,
Ive just bought a t3 12 and i notice that straight out the box there is a fare amount of slop in all the turnbuckles! Is it good to have a bit of slop or are there different ball joints or cups from another make of car that can be used to get rid of this??

If you want to remove some of the slop, try wrapping some plumbers PTFE tape around the ball joint then snap the rod end onto it.
Helped on mine.

If you have slight slop and a plastic bag fix is too thick, try saran wrap, its quite a bit thinner mil spec and you can double it if you have to. It also kind of cuts itself so you don't have to trim it after you snap the ball cup back on.
