I've tried both ways. I do notice a slight difference. I prefer to have the extra weight at the rear of the car with my current setup. It seems to have the rear more planted. Don't worry about the extra 3-4 inches of wire either way. If you are running any of the newer batteries/esc's you won't notice a difference. The best way to tell if it helps your setup is run the pack on a carpet surface. Using the same battery/motor/esc flip it and compare feel and lap times.

I've considered drilling out the wire holes in an Edge to accommodate 12 gauge wires. If it works without causing problems I may go so far as to slot my LRP's SXX TC's in my mod cars similar to the Flow... Here's to hoping the electrical plating on the PCB stays connected once altered.

Ok fellas, i just bought and mounted the xray center servo mount. I cut off the extended chassis nub, which i did notice chassis rub on carpet.
What should i expect to feel different about the car? More traction where, front/rear, or both? Should i be able to throw the car harder into a end of straight sweeper, and not lift, as much, because the chassis will be able to flex/dive, and not hit the carpet?
I did notice that i could move the mount/servo by hand, outside of the servo front to back, like it is not as sturdy as the original. Is that OK?
Sorry for the long winded questionaire. Just trying to get an idea what to look for/expect.
thanks
