Another question...

Is there an advantage/disadvantage to having the battery plugs one way or the other?
I've tried both ways. I do notice a slight difference. I prefer to have the extra weight at the rear of the car with my current setup. It seems to have the rear more planted. Don't worry about the extra 3-4 inches of wire either way. If you are running any of the newer batteries/esc's you won't notice a difference. The best way to tell if it helps your setup is run the pack on a carpet surface. Using the same battery/motor/esc flip it and compare feel and lap times.

I've considered drilling out the wire holes in an Edge to accommodate 12 gauge wires. If it works without causing problems I may go so far as to slot my LRP's SXX TC's in my mod cars similar to the Flow... Here's to hoping the electrical plating on the PCB stays connected once altered.

What date does Xray typically release info on the new car?

There may be an anouncement soon, but even if there is I wouldn't expect the car to be released for possibly a couple of months.

How many of you have put time into a <3dg rear toe setup on carpet? I have tried it a few times and it seems to throw the balance off, but I've seen it run on various chassis a bit more frequently. (I run 17.5 blinky most of the time).

I'm running a very small amount more than -3 and i am very happy with it. Plenty of traction as well as steering.

I did notice that i could move the mount/servo by hand, outside of the servo front to back, like it is not as sturdy as the original. Is that OK?

Sorry for the long winded questionaire. Just trying to get an idea what to look for/expect.

thanks
Make sure to shoe goo the servo down also. The new servo mount tends to flex when you steer. The shoe goo will make the steering a lot more stable.
