Personally I found that certain tires like rotation, some dont. Between the ones that do, they can go different ways. I found for tires such as Solaris Hards you criss-cross them, so move front left to the right rear and right rear to the left front, do the same with the front right and left rear. This seems to make them last a good bit longer, but be careful on the first 2 or 3 laps, they can be wierd. For sweeps, such as 32's or 36's they like side to side. Not sure on Jaco's as our LHS doesnt stock them. These are my personal findings so if others want to say something as well it may be best to get more opinions and findings

Hey guys quick question at my track last week the fastest guy was running an xray and i noticed inbetween heats his mechanic was dremeling out some of the excess plastic from the suspension arms.....does this allow the car to turn in with more speed because the arms flex a bit more?

I casually measured the Spec-R shafts when I was replacing the stock 52mm shafts and I think they were actually about 51.2mm. Seriously. I measured from drive pin to wheel pin and subtracted the difference and although I don't think I was 100% accurate because I was just curious I did use a nice caliper.

It sounds like they were doing it to get more arm flex, but I don't think that's very common to do on modern touring cars. What kind of surface do you race on? It could help with mechanical grip on low traction surfaces, but I know it would hurt your corner speed on all of the tracks we race on in Florida that have at least moderate traction.
