If I follow your question... 2 relatively simple solutions... You could try to rotate and re-drill the new servo position ( I did this on my 11) use only the inside mount and use some shoe Goo to secure the servo ( or the new center servo mount 306220 ) or .. purchase the cefx chassis #19005 ... its pretty close to a factory 12 and works quite well for around $60 shipped... Hope it helps...

Mind sharing the spring info? I'm doing my share of mod practice in challenging traction on the rug. Mid corner grip is particularly problematic.

I ran out of CVD blades, so I put the composite outdrives back in my spool. I had been running the XRay steel pieces. Anyway, I almost immediately bent a CVD (Spec-R) after having no issues for 50+ runs. It's more of a twist than a bend, like I experienced before. I'm wondering if the composite outdrives might be a factor in bending bones.

The spring is a 2.2-2.6. Not sure on the part number. It will help the mid corner grip for sure.

Default 10.5T no boost

Anyone running 10.5T at no boost?
I'm running stock class soon and testing the gearing, finally tested with 4.3:1 (1.8:1 rollout), motor temp around 60C with 2 heat sink fans.
Anyone run this gearing and can I faster than this?

Hey chris. Can you order me some of those springs, and the new center servo mount.

I have had the opposite experience. Weird. I felt that the plastic would give and break before the bone would bend. I have broken several plastic outdrives without bending ecs's. The one day I put the metal out-drives in, I bent an ecs bone.

It's my third week with the t3 12 and I finally hit on a low traction setup for a tight asphalt track. The box setup was like driving on ice. My son finished second with the new setup and more important the car was very driveable. I will now add a little steering. It seems like it takes me 4 weeks of club racing to dial in a new car, so I am a little ahead of schedule.

It's really too big, the teeth will protrude below the chassis, you could get away with running it on carpet but you will have to drive super smooth and not got over any dots or barriesr and run your ride height around 5.4R and 5.2F so that you don't risk the chance of cutting the rug. As for running it on asphalt, forget about it! If you want to run a big gear a 116 will suffice.

We used to use them when we ran foam tire TC and 3mm chassis.

Default screws coming out

Hi,

Im having an issue with some of the screws coming out the bottom of the chassis. Can you use soft thread lock to hold some of them in, ie into metal bulkheads?
