What you should do is coat the mating faces of the diff cases with a thin smear of thick grease, add the gasket and screw up as normal.
I've built three this way with 700 cst oil, never a leak.
Also be sure not to over tighten the screws.

+1. Done this several times without incident ...

the cars come with a non offset spur so you will be fine.

What surface/grip level is the exotek xr'12 chassis designed for? Is it deisigned to match the original chassis? I know xray recently released a soft weave 2mm chassis, is this between the kit 2.5 and the 2mm soft weave?
How would you acheive the Low roll center suspension arm settings on the chassis?

I was some Tamiya ECS in my car to go along with the Tamiya shocks. The design of those things is brilliant.

I'm a fan of the thin chassis/topdeck on carpet so far.

Default T3 12 corner speed issues

I am having problems with my car completing a turn quickly (compare to other cars). My car seems to pause in the middle of a turn versus going in and out. I don't have any issues with the car steering on power or off. Just the mid corner hesitation. Any suggestions?

Perhaps binding of the CVDs? Or steering throw is too much and you are losing grip?

If by pavement you mean outdoor asphalt you have two setups with impressive results- Meen's from TITC (which he won) and Hagbergs from ETS Gran Canaria (where he TQd and finished 2nd). Both setups are low grip and some small changes helped improve my car in those conditions

Hey there guys, Just picked up a 2012. I have the rear belt on the loosest setting and its still not as loose as I would like it. Is there another belt you guys would recommend or is there a way to stretch the xray one? Any suggestions is much appreciated.
