thanks syndr0me. Tehnic - are you being sarcastic? Seriously? I would love (one day) to get into on track racing. I just wanted to get a good car and setup to do speed runs, turns (not tight like you guys at the trac)...but I heard the 4.5/esc tekin combo will overheat too fast all of the time. I don't mind if it is a beast...I just won't attempt to take her in small places at first etc...
A 17.5t for "speed runs" would be pretty boring.
A Tekin RS Pro can handle a 4.5t turn motor and it will not overheat. At worst you will have to add a second cap and maybe a fan. The Pro is made to handle mod, and although it's not commonly used for mod touring car because of it's poor throttle feel, it will work in your application.

Yeah, I forgot about the first time I put a 5.5 in one of my cars and had my ESC in blinky mode. It felt slower than my boosted 13.5 until I added a bit of boost and turbo. Then it really woke up. 
I would still worry about the Tekin getting too hot if just doing constant speed runs back and forth with a 4.5 or if racing on a large flowing track with a big straight. Especially on a hot summer day. Yes, it can do it, but keep an eye on the temps.

hey guys im putting my ecs shafts together and it calls for hudy graphite grease............what are my alternatives anybody know of anything perhaps something from a hardware store?

I guess you could use some Molybdenum grease from the automotive store(black grease). But I would suggest using Mugen Super grease which a lot of hobby shops stock. I would also suggest using 3/8 inch shrink wrap. I have seen a lot of people try to overtighten the grub screws and bind up the assembly.

The diameter of the pins are 1.5mm, so it doesn't take much torque to bend them. So to ensure they don't back out you use some shrink wrap to make sure they don't come out and you have 3 wheel drive... not fast I can assure you.
If I recall that was a rolling change so the part should be the same number but with v2 on the package.

Use a ton of grease. Buy an extra ecs.. there are parts u cannot buy as replacement (stub axle).
