MuchMore 450 or Associated 37.5 oil
Alum Shocks w/ 1.1mm 3 hole pistons (0 rebound)
Droop 6 f. 5 r.
Kit CVD's. I'm faster with them.
Camber 1.5 all around
1 deg toe out front
3 degree toe in rear
5.2mm ride height
Dif oil 1000 Edit brand
No shims on inner bulks (camber link) 2mm outer front and 4mm outer rear.
Front spool
Sorex 28r tyres and LRP Carpet additive.
To solve any issues with my car I adjust additive timing and might lower front shocks one hole.

For MooreSpeed tyres I run MooreSpeed Red springs and HPI silver rears.
This is pretty much what all us Xray team drivers run in the uk, give or take a couple of things, you never know mikey, I might let you get a littler closer to me at the next round of the winter series

The min tooth sum is 100, maximum is 112, so that combo should fit right in the middle.
But will that spur mount correctly?

Default springs

How do the xray and hpi springs compare, is one more linear than the other?

What would hpi pink and silver be in xray springs?

they are pretty similar to 3.0/2.9 and 2.6 to be honest. Car just feels a bit better with them on.

Default downstops

where are most people setting their stops at, on carpet, w/ Sweeps, med bite? I'm at 6F, 5R, running 5mm ride height in front, 5.5 in rear. I was just wondering if i should go higher or lower. I have never measured the droop, by ABR (above ride height), but i see it alot on xray setup sheets.

Here you go mate, if I need more back end I tend to lower my rear pins slightly. I also run my shocks in one hole front and back when running moorespeed tyres.

Default 2011 vs 2012

I'm in the market for a new TC and was just curious to know what the difference is between the 2011 and the 2012.

According to Xray everything in the 12 has been "optomised"

But the real difference is a new top and bottom chassis that has more flex and gives more grip. There are a few other upgrades, east-west servo, new roll centres and new shock positions but thats about it.

You'll need a 64p pinion too.

I'm in a bit of a pickle as far as the balance of my car goes. My batteries are quite heavy, and even with large/heavy ESC, motor fan, etc., I have to add almost 50 grams of weight to the electronic's side of the car to get it to balance left-right. I end up way over our weight limit of 1380g, by 40-50 grams IIRC.

Would it make any difference at all if I were to flip the drive train configuration to the NiMH configuration with the belts flipped? I'm afraid it won't make much difference at all, since it doesn't actually transfer much (if any) weight in and of itself.

I'm just thinking of ways that I can balance the chassis without having to add so much weight to the car.
