RW Racing spurs and pinions are almost a standard in the UK, the are the OEM spur manufacturer for Schumacher and most people use their Xray spurs.

They are available in most countries and on Ebay, but as we don't know where you are I can't advise.

I use rc market quite a bit they have a lot of parts great prices and they ship fast. I can literally get parts in about the same time as it takes to cross the U.S coast to coast. Barring a hold up in customs and that Only happened once for a day or 2.

Anyone run this chassis in VTA? Got a good setup/tips?

Also, im new to tc and racing in general, exactly what upgrades do I need to improve reliability and maybe driveability with this setup as a VTA on carpet?

If you want to PM thats fine to keep from cluttering this thread with newb stuff.

This is what most of us in Dallas are running for VTA with our X-rays. This setup is from one of the fastest guys at our track.

You won't need any upgrades with the T3 2012. Right outta the box, the car is excellent.

Heck, any of the Xray series touring cars are excellent for VTA. I use a T2 007 with the Exotek chassis and do just as well as the guys with the T3's.

The one thing I'd suggest for the car straight out of the box is the 2x10mm pins for the CVD's that have the flat spot on them. Or use a dremel tool to grind a flat spot on the included pins. It really helps with the longevity of the CVD joint.

Will it allow me to use thicker non-xray spur gears?

Just bought two pairs of the new progressive springs, anyone have some advice about where to start with them? Eg. At the front, rear or all round ?
