What are some options for strapping the battery, besides using the graphite battery strap?

Which velcro straps will work, or should I stay away from them?

I got a velcro hold down made by A-plus racing, works very nice. Contact Drew Ellis he should be able to get one for you, i think they're around $25 and include aluminum battery retainers as well

Thanks again guys for the reply's and the offers to help, at least I see that xray does make some mistakes, they just don't like to own up to them. Xray has stopped responding to my request for a replacement axle. Not very impressed with their service and especially their ability to comprehend my problem. You would think the help would be of better quality considering the cost of their kits.I guess I'm just $H!t out of Luck. Thanks HUDY!!

Constructing your battery mount system was easier than just using a pc of tape?

I don't like the idea of a tape honestly. I fully understand why it's used but in my opinion there is no tweak with my system aswell (also Awesomatix have a similar sistem in their kits as of recently). And I enjoy giving my cars a bit of personal touch, so I don't see the problem

Where are you located? Have you tried the local distributor? That would be RC America in the US. They are usually more responsive than Xray directly.
