Most brands make good speedos, but as you're American the least you can do is support your own folk and buy NOVAK. Besides, they're pretty damn good too !

Please take this light heartedly...

If the allies lost WW2, we'd all be running LRP, GM and KO escs today

Ok, then what would have happened if the Russians hadn't stopped at Berlin???

What would we be using then?

I know what the color would be!

If you read the prior posts, we were telling him to go get a used GT-7...they're going for 60-90 bucks. He said he wanted a good ESC but didn't want to spend a bunch of money -- used Novak stuff kicks butt.

I just bought/traded for a used GT-7 (and getting another), N-power and Millenium Pro for about $175 total. Great stuff, great support, even better prices.

I have run all the major ESC's over the last five years. All are pretty good but my favorite has to be LRP Quantum series. If you are on a tight budget but want a great ESC, buy a used Quantum or Quantum 2 on ebay (they can be found ffor $50.00-$100.00)...even if it is a mess as long as it is in working condition. Package the ESC up and send it to Associated. For $35.00 they will rework the ESC (replace the cases and re-wire the unit) and make sure that it is working properly. When you get it back it will look brand new (honestly) and more importantly it will work like brand new.
I send my Quantums back to Associated after every race season for this service just to make sure they are still operating with spec. Within 2 weeks I get back brand new ESC's for $35.00 a piece.
