Radio Help
I have done a lot of research and asked lots of questions about the batteries, motors, chargers, blah, blah, blah and I have those answers
But what about radios
I honestly never used any fancy smancy settings like exponential, etc so I just need the least expensive radio that will do the job
I just set the steering wheel turned all the way to the right/left then the car tires should be all the way to right/left
Same with throttle
What I mean by do the job is that I don't want to have such a cheap radio that I get interference or whatever other radio problems that people run into
Here is the one I like the most for the price of $220
http://www.futaba-rc.com/systems/futk1400.html
Honestly taking into consideration that I don't use fancy smancy settings how would it be in comparision to this $400+ one
http://www.futaba-rc.com/systems/futk4901.html
I had this one before but not sure the going price today
And why in this picture does it have two antenna's
http://www.kopropo.co.jp/sys_en/radios/ex-1ur.html
Any advice or experience with either of these or other's?
Thank you

I've been using Spektrum radios for the last 5+ years, they have been awesome. The DX3E might interest you if you don't need a bunch of features but it only has 1 model memory.

A few guys at my club have bought the DX3C recently, they are really liking them and for $130 I'd say they are a great deal.

Or check the Buy/Sell thread, always wicked deals to found there

Infinite12th, I understand your point, but it's the possibilities of improving control that the more expensive radios offer that make them attractive to racers trying to get an edge on the competition . Also, the opportunity to try all that's available out there is priceless !

I just don't want to get glitched because some more expensive radio is owning the frequencies or has more powerful frequency output or something...lol
Is that true or bologna?
Thanks

This controller feels nice in the hand, has all the fancy stuff if you require it and is cheap as chips. Since i bought one, i have replaced all the rx in my cars, 1 DX3c, 5 x SR300 rx and for everything else there is mastercard.
To be honest, this was the best purchase i have made in a long time, it has reduced the amount of crap i have to take along with me as well as remembering to change tx batteries for a bazillion tx's.
