I had a look in the manual thinking raising the antenna and pitch damper post (K9?) in order for my shorty to fit below the pitch damper. Will this bold move effect the pitch damping and the handling of the car overall?

Thanks!
If on high grip surface, yes, if not ?

Front & Rear Tires/Wheels Set = Yokomo GT500

Front axle = Tamiya #54366 - Front Axle For 1/8" x 5/16" Bearing

Rear wheel hub = Tech Racing conversion kit RMGT01 Type-R (from Japan)

Sorry for the late response I am still on holiday, and IF I'm not mistaken....

Hex size of Yokomo rear wheel hub = 12mm

Hex size of original RM-01 rear wheel hub = 9mm

its been a long time since i ran my rm-01.... 2 years
so to day i was sick at home, missed work...read every page from start to finish
basicly (took a rc day)
so tonight pulled out my rm01 . took it apart and got it running
i have a few questions now.
do you need any bearings for the RM-01 Spur Gear Adapter?
my kit will only run club 13.5 binky
there is a few dif tamiya tires for this kit what are the differences?
would i just use hbr foams? what are new tamiya foam size? to fig out rollout?
some one said to use sunscreen spf 30? to attach the tires... really?
do they still sell rm01x?
thanks for any help

No, the spur gear adaptor rides directly on the axle

Kit tires are good all around tires for asphalt or carpet, they wear a bit faster than the Option tires
the Option tires are also good for tuning grip levels

Sunscreen is used on asphalt surfaces to soften the tires externally, not to attach them

Yes
thanks for any help
TQRC have nearly everything you could need for the RM-01 kits HERE

For questions about 1/12 scale tuning, rollout etc
Please check the link in my sig

What he said

The only thing I will add from my own experience is that option fronts and kit rears offer the best wear/grip balance

Love this car......but can't convince the touring car guys around me to bite. So I will be running this just for my own pleasure. makes me want to run some rubber tires on it if it is just going to be me. Has anyone managed to fit some M Chassis rims/tires on this? Thank you.
