Not cool.

Unless you have some agreement with your wife that governs leisure expenditure I'd be very upset in your position.

I'm using a 23 pinion with a 93T spur on a track of 25mx10m with the standard 380 motor and a 2cell 1/18th lipo battery.
I think the speed is correct, comparing with a F104 with a silvercan motor.
Not sure if the speed can be compared with a 17.5T&1 cell battery eqiupped car.

Im thinking of getting this kit to run in my area what are the necessities that I need to get with it right from the get go. What do I need to run the standard 1/12 tires and 64 pitch gears.

I would suggest starting at the first post in this thread
There are links, and lots of answers to your questions

Of course it would be worthwhile to read the entire thread to have a full understanding of how everyone has built and run their RM's

I'm interested in the possibilities that are presented by the unused top deck mounts on the front suspension mouldings. Has anyone tried running a camber link between the two of them to increase stiffness? If so, how did it go?

I mounted a turnbuckle on the unused top deck mounts and i was very pleased with how the car handled.
The car feld much better and was easier to control cause the car was more consistand.

Excellent. Thanks very much.

I figure because there is some flex in the mounts, that cutting them down and mounting the turnbuckle lower could enhance that effect – giving an even stiffer front end.

So ok my wife didn't send my suff back (yaaa)
so now I can run 1cell , we run 17.5 boost but I don't know what to gear it to ?
I'm a total newbie to 1/12th should I use 64p spur?
If I would like use jaco tires but not sure what I would have to do to make them fit ?
Any advice would be great , thanks
