They are all 1/12th electric. and yes there were quite a few 917s. The 917s are from Delta Plastik, and the others are a mix of Delta Plastik,Frewer, and Team Blue Groove. Of course the 956s and Toyotas are from Tamiya. I imported all of these for our racers hee in Japan.

last thursday i've tested my RM-01 with the front brace between the front suspension and this gave me the feeling that the car was more controlable and more consistant then without the brace.
It really felt great, even with the standard 380 motor but with a 1/18th 2-cell lipo i was able to compete with the bigger F104 cars.
Lot's of fun to drive this car

To make along story short, his car with carbon is 150 grams lighther than mine with the FRP chassis. Weight was one reason to get carbon that I forgot to tell you about. just one other thing to think about if you need your car to go on a diet.
The guy with the full option RM-01 has spent much more money than it would have cost to get a serious chassis to begin with. His car is light now like a more serious car but cost a whole third more than if he would have went with CRC/and R5 or just about any other car that has the parts Tamiya is selling as options.
Glad to hear the strut helped you a little, its cheap and easy to install.

If I could find somewhere to race it I'd love to hop mine up and try it in a 12th open class....tcs rules keep it too slow for me
Do you guys know of any popular 12th tracks in the North East?

thanks.
i use for asphalt the tamiya hop up wheel too.
maybe i will try the shepherd onraod tyre kit next week.
I drive a 26mm rollout now with the 380 and 2s.
really great. just need a little more steering at the curve.
