Default HMX FDR

FDR HMX with 48DP

4.5 with 78 and 29

The chart in the manual ends at FDR 4.17 with 78 and 32.

How do I make 4.0 and 3.5? These are used in stockracing at the Dutch Nationals (and other events also).

Google, and than gearchart rc .. and then the upper link. so now you can see what pinion and spur size you need.

Thanks Tim.
I already knew the pinion size I needed.
That wasn't the problem.
The problem is that I don't see those sizes on the Corally website.
So which ones to use knowing that the largest one on the Corally website is 32T?

And knowing that on the Corally website there are no spurs smaller than 78T.

That is true. I use Kawada spurs. I order them by rcmart.com Those spurgears should work fine too.

Are these the ones you mean?
http://www.rcmart.com/kawada-Store-m...page=3&sort=1a

So you only can vary the FDR with the spur? (as to an FDR that would need a pinion > 32T)

Not with the pinion because the HMX needs long boss?

A bit of a hassle, isn't it? Or is the spur on the HMX interchangeable in an easy and quick manner?

Isn't there an alternative for the Corally long boss pinions? (especially when needed >32T)

If so which ones?

I've been wanting to try the 500k. How do you like it? I have cleaning clay in my front diff and associated 1000 cst in the back.

Its good for tighter tracks. On tracks with long fast flowing corners I think cleaning gum would be a better choice.

I have had better luck with a spool over using the putty. It seems the putty breaks down, or just gets crammed into the voids after a couple of runs.
