Tamiya Mini Bodies - What are you running?

I'm looking at a Tamiya Mini, but I don't like their body selection.

What are you running for your M05/M06? Selection here is quite limited, so I'll be buying online.

Does anyone have experience buying from RC Mart?

Pics would be awesome.

Thanks!

I quite get you right there. Personally am running the Yaris shell from COLT, wheel arches are cut higher, lowering the ridiculous tall package. Saw some guys running the Bettle too and looks pretty good! Good Luck!

I bought the spice mazda 6 210mm body for the M05. Nice body, fits on the car good. Lots of steering compaired to tamiya bodies made for the M chassis. Yes its available through rcmart.com.

I am using the Beetle body, seeing how I had to sell my real beetle, this one feel in pretty well. It dose steer well for the track I run on, I might race it next season. stupid work, college and life...lol

I am running this one http://www.minizata.com/wp-content/b...ing_pickup.jpg

I got it from Rcmart.
Yes, I was in a hurry making it to the race so I missed cutting the body pins, it will be done...

I run the HONDA CIVIC by HPI... $19.99... Tamiya bodies are pricey and I was bummed on Tamiya for not including a body with the "pro" kit. If you are just club racing its great but TCS will require you to run a "legal" body

RC Mart (or Dinball on ebay) are good. I order from them all the time... I would like to see this in real life if anyone has one???

I currently run the Skoda from Colt: http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-min...?cPath=438_874

Good lines/molds, stickers and overall quality.

I really, really dislike touring bodies on Minis... if you want a tourer, run a tourer. I especially dislike bucket wings on the back of them (or on the roof).

Mini's are about scale hatches and coupes.

That looks so good, a bit pricey compared to an RS4 but would be a nice change running it on express Mini 4wd

I hate Tourer's on minis too. I wouldn't say a scale 4 door Lancer is a Tourer. When was the last time you saw an Evo on a touring car? I like scale looking 'real' cars and I love my Evo's. If it had an authentic rear wing it would be awesome. The lack of rear wing will probably make me NOT buy it. It's no different to the current crop of WRX's, Volvos, etc...

Thanks all for the input.

I like the Team Blue Groove bodies.. I'm hinging on getting one of them. While I do like the ABC Hobby bodies, they'll only ship UPS to Canada, and we all know what the cross border brokerage is like with that. <get some lube ready!) I love the Renault Turbo body. ABC's Datsun 510 is nice, too bad they don't offer it in a wagon. ;)

The RC Mart bodies, are they made of good thick Lexan, or are they flimsy like some AE RC12 race bodies?

The C30 looks sweet, but I haven't been able to find any Canadian distributors.
