Does anyone know about how much an old electric 4-tec is worth? I had someone offer to sell me one about 10 years old, but upgraded around 7 years ago... would the parts be likely to still work?

traxxas never made updates to 4-tec car/chassis wise, they changed speed control couple times.

we sold one at the store, new in box, rtr for $150, just a fyi 4-tec is discontinued.

Many other old RC TCs out there that are better and more worthwhile for cheap. Look for Associated TC3's. Very cheap and upgrades and parts still plenty around and on the Internet.

Don't bother with the 4-Tec. It was a cheap car then and its practically worthless now.

They were sold at at car parts shop 2 years ago for $30 each, new(old stock)
