GEAR QUESTION/HELP
HELLO GUYS
IM NEW TO THE SITE .I have a traxxs rustler that I have just bought used
It is all stock .My question is im wanting to get more speed or top end out of it.I want to change the pinion gear to a 20 tooth it has a 25 tooth and the spur is85 tooth .Will this give me more top end? Im on a budget so im trying to get the biggest bang for my buck .Also where is the best place to buyone ?I used to be into rc 12 years ago just now getting back into it kind of forgot eveything LOL the motor is stock so if you can give me some advice would be appreciated.I also need brushhes

You might want to post in the off-road section as opposed to here in the on-road section, but to quickly answer your question, no, a smaller pinion will give you a slower top speed.
Any local hobby shop should have gears and should be able to help you out.
