Reedy Quasar Pro popping fuses

The last two weeks my quasar pro keeps popping the 7.5 amp fuse, I ran out and had some 10amp put those in and popping them as well. I have a second quasar pro that isn't having any problems at all.

Had the upgrade performed by reedy and lately been giving me some fits. Tonight I tried to carefully move the wire just in case of a pinch.

Anyone else have this problem and what was done to solve it.

When it happens I'm trying to charge or discharge my 3300 packs. I charge at 6amps. 5mv peak detect. 20 amp discharge.

Thanks.:D

This is funny, Had a dude at our track complain about the same -o thing about fuses with his rebuilt Quasar.

However, he admited he let the battery clips touch & short.....

Could be whats happening here ?

send it back to AE asap we know someone who went downstairs after just putting some batteries onto charge next thing he knew it was in flames and being thrown out of the window !! dont mess with the electronics inside as you might invalidate any warranty, let them sort it.

Yes. Send it back. I had problems with my fans not working after the upgrade. Sent them a e-mail and the charger. They repaired it and sent it back. No questions asked.

Blew 4 fuses yesterday, everytime I hooked up the leads bam, blew a fuse. When I finally got it to not pop a fuse on a 6 amp charge setting was pumping 12 amps into the pack.

The damn thing was sent back today. I have two and the other one is fine. Pain in the a$$ and a huge inconvience to have to send it in twice.
