Default New On-Point OP12C

Has anybody seen the new 1/12 car from On-Point. Check out the info below from RedRC..........

On-Point racing was founded in 2009 and since then the interest in our products has risen massively. Our tuning parts for Team Serpent and Team Associated cars have had great racing success in the last 2 years, this is the reason why we decided to produce our very own and unique 1/12 scale conversion kit, the OP12C. Due to its genius and intelligent design, this kit is a “must have” for every 1/12 enthusiast!

The OP12C features:

- More space for electronics and wiring, due to three post design
- Split rear cross brace for more space, better motor mounting and more weight placement options
- Damper tubes for smoothest dampening
- Longer wheelbase for Lipo racing
- Wider front track width for Lipo racing
- Fits any 1/12 servo
- Fits AE R5 front end
- Any 1/12 center-shock and rear axle fits
- Orange and black anodized aluminum parts for eye-catching effect
- Based on US high quality graphite and aluminium
- 7075 Aluminum pod plates

The car looks great Steve. You and Chicky have definitely got the aesthetics down pat. I already know it'll be fast.

He guys!
I will receive my car tommorow. Time for the last couple of rechecks and some serious testing for two days.
I am really excited I have to say and also happy to have a proper car now ;-)

This will be a good one!

He guys!
Well...what can I say....I had my first 20 packs with the car, and I am impressed.

I know my test track very very well, and even its off season and less people running there during summertime, I immediately matched my fastest lap there ever.

Even more important, that thing is soooooo easy to drive!! You guys will be happy when you hit the track!

Hey Markus,

Were you using the AE or the Serpent version?

Have you tested the car with a 17.5 vs. a mod motor, wondering if there is a difference in handling with more/less power?

Can you tell us a little bit about your setup?

Thanks.

He!
Well, for sure I was using the AE conversion kit ;-)
I dont run 17,5 at all, only Mod, 10.5, sometimes 13,5 when I race in the US.
In general I only put way less additive on the fronts for stock, further I never make any changements compared to mod racing.

Maybe a less grippy front tyre helps sometimes for stock too.

For setup info you can contact me under www.speedtechrc.de or get in touch with Paul, [email protected]
