For 13.5 I qualified and finished second Steve Dunn qualified and finished 10th.

Since the car is a conversion we have had a lot of requests to use a more universal color to match other brand components. We chose BLACK. Orange will still be available! Black be available in a few weeks!. I'll have some pictures on line in a few days.

Also the website is coming along, we are super happy with it!

Next stop, US Indoor Champs where we will be the sponsor for the Mod 12th scale class.
regarding the all important color coordination challenge:

Ss there a cost effective (read cheap) method to make the blue 12R5 front end parts black, grey, silver or ? orange would be nice too but i expect that requires some professional service. the 2 parts i am referring to are the aluminum lower arm inserts and the titanium camber links

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but I think you want to know if this is a cheap car? It is good quality and not very cheap money wise but many think it a reasonable price for what you get.

To make it any other color than silver requires to be sent to an anodizer. Usually this is a lot charge of $50-70 almost as many parts as you like. If you want to make it silver there is a chemical called Zep Crystal Drain cleaner from Home Depot that will get the job done. It is a seriously dangerous chemical in my opinion but it will take the coating off of anything on the planet. I recommend you use gloves and do it outside because it makes some seriously dangerous vapor.

To use it:

Have a small container of water. pour the Zep into it and stir, keep adding until it starts to bubble and smoke. The put the part in there for only seconds at a time until the anodizing comes off the part. You will want to have a separate tub of clean water to soak it in after the anodizing comes off. I would try to scrub the part in clean water shortly after or it will corrode. If you leave it in the Zep too long the aluminum will wear away and the part will become too small to use anymore.

Or you can just buy the OP parts already black and be a much healthier individual in the end

We sell R5 blocks in black with black inserts and I have a few orange inserts that will work with the std R5 blocks laying around.

I think you would really like the On Point parts and Car kits. They are very nicely developed and perform like you'd want. The fit and finish is top quality. I bought the On Point Serpent Link car last year, then recently purchased the new conversion so I now have the inline version as well. Both kits are very nice and they look awesome, and best of all, they perform great!

Great showing for On-Point at the 'birds!!! Markus was fast for sure, with a balanced car that looked like it was easy to drive at a ballistic pace. Way to go Paulie and the rest of the On-Point team!!!!

Default Pictures and setup from Snowbirds!

The third round of qualifying saw Markus Mobers lead from the get go to the end with a new Tq. In the main the tone went off and Markus and his OP12C led start to finish. Markus used the new OP300B Black Edition conversion kit. Now available in black, the OP12C color combo is makes for easier color matching when you convert to it from other 12th cars.

Here is the setup and pictures of the car from the race. If you have any questions please ask.
