Default Weight Kypom 5800 65c

Hi,
I bought a 2cell lipo, kypom 5800 65c from ebay.
The moment I got it had I had a strange feeling (litterally).
The weight was only 212 grams
So it's 88 grams lighter than my 5600 65c pack.

Also the internal resistance is 11 - 12 ohm, very high if you ask me.

The looks of the hardcase is different compared to my original 5600 lipo (can always be off-course)

When asking the seller he said that it's a newer lighter type of lipo (lighter build) and that the internal resistance will drops further everytime used.

Now, I'm not an expert on lipo's, but my guess is that I'm the victim of a scam
Or could this all he said be true?

i would not try any electronics thats not popular.
sometimes popular brands may not be as good as it is like smc. thats why they are not popular anymore.

i would recommend gens ace lipo if you ask me

also do your research here on google before you buy next time.
it will save you lots of money and headaches

I have some of these Kypom, going to weight them and tell you later.

They are not bad cells, but my IPs are punchier on 60C.

well it is supposed to weight 303g on official federation site.

One of mine is 292g (charged) and this is without cables.

There are so far
5600 65C
5800 65C
6500 70C
the rest is under 60C

All have white stickers with red writtings and numbers, ROAR approved sticker on side, the problem is that you will need a huge amount of weights to balance your chassis, lighter is not better..

There are lots of people were I race that use the kypom lipo.
If abused, every lipo will fail.
My main concern is that I have a lipo that is not what it is supposed to be.

i would not use it because its not popular. i've had really bad experience with teamwave esc. its has good program but its not reliable and burn my motors few times.
same as smc batteries. they all puff no matter how much you take care of it.
now i only use respectful electronics with good feedback
