Cool Cleveland Indoor Champs !

Just thinking here , could we do like we did in 07 I think , one of those years , and run 3 or 4 practice min... runs with the same group that you would be in later in the day . after 4 min.. the next group gets 4 min.. in so on It worked out good the day we did it that year .... maybe five min.. that would take up some of those five hours !
Ian if your out there !

thanks

.

Default Concourse Reminder

I don't think it has been mentioned, but it is on the schedule...Concourse Competition sponsored by Parma and FASKOLOR.

Looks like about 6:00 pm Thursday, after first round of practice. Check on site for any changes.

Like last year, there will be only one category for best paint/overall appearance. We have some great prizes for first, second and third, including a FASKOLOR F-1 Airbrush for the winner.

See you there.

I've spoke to plenty of guys who are going who are not on the list. Not to mention, for me it's no the quanity of racers it is the Quality of the race and competition.

First time in 7 years I will be skipping the Champs. The main reason I think attendance will be down is simply the costs. The price of all the parts and pieces is getting a tad bit out of control. The mark-up is excessive. And if you don't buy the best of the best you might as well stay home. One other thing the room's at the Holiday Inn are disgustingly gross. I actually found a shock spring on the floor last year when I brought in stuff it had to be there from the prior year as well of a few red screws. Don't want to forget the chicken wing bone under the chair. This place nasty.

I will say this and let it go. Sometimes keeping the entries a secret actually hurts you more than posting them. People want to know how many entries and who is going. If one class isn't as big, we can switch to one that has more entries. It's about competition and not just the number of entries. Heck even having a small crowd, but knowing that a majority of the fast guys are going will drive up entries. I know several people aren't going just because they don't know how many entries there are and who is going.

Nothing against Cleveland, Ian, or the crew. Dirla and I are headed to the race tomorrow. See everyone there.
