Anyone, that isn't biased
1. which is better
2. which actually weighs more
3. is smaller
4. does the comp 2 need a capacitor to run stock.

2. Novaks site says 18.1 grams (not sure if this is with or without the capicator) LRP's site says 21.5 grams

I know.. i goofed.. the gtx is smaller, but not by much... but with the capacitor its bigger...

ya double checking both sites and the gtx just barely smaller, like less than 5mm all around... but as soon as you add the capacitor on the Q2 is smaller and doesn't need a cap...
They are the same price (at least at our LHS) and they probably work about the same.. so its up to you Chris..
I use a Q2 and love it... if it blew, I would probably try a GTX just to see...

What I am really trying to do is get my car as light as possible without sacrificing performance by swithcing to a capacitor less esc. I will be getting the low profile servo here soon to add to the lightness.

ive finally got a new esc and i ended up getting a GTX (from the lhs...ouch..hurt the wallet
)
it does have quite a lot of punch out of the box but thats because its preset to profile 3.....1 behind most aggreesive..7 behind smoothest
i will try out different profiles next time i race.

there are other cheaper ways to lower the weight of your car..
