Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I think I'll go with A main hobbies.

Aaron, I appreciate your support. Thanks!

Stormer is good too, some of their prices are the cheapest.

What I look in an online shop is how well they keep inventory, how fast they ship things out accurately, and how good their CS is. Those three stores have not failed me yet

oh, and no BS S/H fees.

Stormer doesn't take Paypal and has no up front shipping quotations (or estimates), which, while they have tried to explain away previously, in my eyes it still firmly plants them as too risky for my taste.

Jeff @ Speedtech
Arun @ Nexus
Bob @ Stormer

All these guys get the nod for me, and A main has decent coupon codes if your making big purchases.

I’m having big problem with USPS getting ship to Australia. I ordered parts from A-main twice within few weeks, and both of them taking forever to get it. First one took over 3 weeks and one on order now took 12 days to get from CHICO to SAN FRANCISCO, and it’s still in USA. Normally takes less than week to get here, anyone knows USPS having delay problem in CA?

If shipping out of the US to Aus I only use EMS or UPS now. Standard USPS Mail and Priority is slow (ie 3-4 weeks slow) and that's if it arrives at all!

USPS has been mostly good for me 5-10 days normally. Never had a problem with them through A Main, but coming from hobbypartz my gens ace batts took about 3 weeks with the same shipping type. No idea why. It was the same thing as above, huge delay in the US.

Stormer and A Main are great no doubt but you should also give your LHS a shot as well. That doesn't necessarily mean the closest dealer, my closest shop is owned by someone who is rude and condescending so the only things I'll buy there is hardware and paint, maybe a gear or tires if I'm in a pinch. Not to mention he charges more than MSRP, $6.95 for a part with "5.95" on the cardboard. $7 for a Kimbrough spur that's $4 everywhere else. $170 for a charger that is $140 everywhere. The guy is obviously a scumbag, and giving the hobby a black eye. That shop is about 7 miles from me, however I will drive 15 miles to R.I. because they are good guys and have always treated me right over the years. They are the same price as Tower and I have it in less that a week. Support your LHS so they are still around when you need them.

H I - There has been trouble recently with USPS packages getting held up on their way to Australia. Not sure why, but I'd recommend UPS right now because we're having better luck.

If your package exceeds these USPS-specified timeframes:
First Class Mail - 21 days
Priority Mail - 14 days
Express Mail - 10 days

Contact our customer service department and tell them how long you've waited for your package. They will fix it.

I use AMain 90% of the time.
Fantastic service.
I have recently had 1 issue over dozens of orders. A package went missing in the post (not A-Mains fault). I e-mailed them, after the obligatory week passed for their insurance, they re-sent my parcel, and it arrived in record time.
A-main have my loyalty for life now

don't have a huge selection like Amain but shipping is around 1/2 the price and is only 2-4 days delivery

Thanks Aaron, I’ll contact customer service tomorrow.
A-main has great service, it’s shame postal service in US and AU aren’t as good.
