mamba max pro cms36 7700kv problem
 
i just installed my mamba max pro esc and 7700kv motor with Turnigy 2s 30c 5000mah and 35/72 gearing , played with it for a good 5mins after that the motor starting making some weird like a screech

any ideas what to do?

What kind of car was it in ? That gear ratio of 2.05 scares me unless it was in something with steep gear reduction.

Way overgeared and over heated and a bearing has suffered. Then running it with no load is only going to make it worse. Basically you cooked the motor.

any way to fix it? or the only way to fix it is send it back to castle?

At the least it'd need a new rotor and new bearings.

I don't think castle will warranty user error.

Castle sreations does not repair motors.They replace them.A few months ago you had to pay for that 35-40$.Now you have to pay 70$ and i don't know if it worths.
