Do show us!!!

I once had a pebble find its way into the rear gear box.... Shredded a brand new belt. The older belt was shredded by a pebble too Having said that, it hasn't happened again

Default Gear Cover

Ok, this thing is not pro work at all... i made it last year because I wanted to play in a parking lot without having rocks wrecking my gears. it is made of cardboard, easy to find, cheap, making it easy to replace if it gets broken...

Downside,... if u get hit.... the possibilities of the cover touching ur gears is great (I used masking tape to hold mine on), therefore I only suggest using it for practice...

Anyways... if anyone wants.... i can post the "blue prints" for this box if u like... (measurements are not perfect... but works good enough).... a little fine tuning and I am sure it will fit anyone's likings.

(if you don't like it... don't flame me for it... it was just some poor dude's way to make sure he didn't need to replace his gears every 5 minutes).

an old bud used to dremel away the rear cover of the bulkhead. it helped spitting out pebbles but weakened the gear cover

But if the pebbles are caught in the gears, the gears will chew the pebbles and its stuck..

Default I need parts for TRF 414m

Hi guys, my first time here that is writing but have been reading this forum for some time, I had to come over and ask if anyone could help me out I'm looking for some parts which are these

Tamiya (#49269) - Tamiya TRF414M Lightweight Front Bulkhead
Tamiya (#49270) - Tamiya TRF414M Lightweight Rear Bulkhead
Tamiya (#49271) - Tamiya TRF414M Lightweight Motor Plate

I know that these are old but I have a TA04 sitting there with loads of hot ups doing nothing and I thought I fit these on it and have a go with it here in Malta.

Thanks
Hope I find what I'm looking for.

Hi...

The lightweight bulkheads will not fit the TA04 as it was designed only for the 414 sedan family. I have the same set and the holes will not align in any way with any of the TA04 chassis. Would have been a nice project, but I'm sure a lot of people already tried this without success.
