Default Braking power and battery strength

Hey guys i was running my car on the track and i noticed that i had to brake earlier for a turn with a reedy 3000 wolfback that had maybe 7.0 in her then i switched batteries same type though and rite from the get go i could brake much later for that turn is there a connection to braking and strength of the battery?
