Default onroad pre-mount rubber tire rim breaking issues

a certain brand of on road pre-mount rubber (for 1/10 sedans) tires tend to break where the rim glues to the rubber tire.....is there anyway to prevent the rim from cracking or breaking.(pre-shoo goo?)....switching brands is not really an option at this point.

Your talking about the greyish rims??
Have had the same problem with them
Not using them either.
Better buy some decent rims

the only way prevent that, not sound sarcastic, is to avoid hitting anything.

some rims are way too stiff that has no give, hence cracks easily. you get better response from them, but there's draw back. I like the rims from speedmind, they seem to have right balance of give and rigidity imo.

Used rims from Tamiya,Jaco,3racing,Schumacher en more.
All without any problems
Only rims i got problems with are the above metioned greyish rims.
It is the same brand that has the tires on it that only last for about 3 runs and then they are rubbish
They even break when you get hit sideways by another car and not even hard.
