Hey guys,

I have been running this system for awhile now and all I can say is WOW. I have not experienced any glitches or any problems at all. I don't have to run a antenna tube either...too cool.

Run time issues

Hey Todd, Have you noticed a change in run time at all? It doesn't seem like it would be much to worry about with a good set of batts. This sytem looks like it is perfect. It is about time crystals will become a thing of the past in the next few years. With battery technology becoming much better over the past few years I don't see a problem with run time with this system.

Todd, I respect your testing and am just as eager as anyone to try this out, however I just tried a search on '2.4Ghz' on Google and was amazed at the results. Seems like every man and his dog are using it in 1 form or another so I guess it could be down to track location.
Can you get someone from Spektrum to comment?

Silvercup-I have not noticed any difference in my car's runtime however my radio batteries do last much longer.

Hugo, It all depends on which radio you are currently using. Some will be available before others. Post what radio you have and I or others will be able to help you. Keep in mind things do change. Hope this helps.

Todd, it would be great if you can get a Spektrum rep in here to address the concerns of people regarding this what seems to be a breakthrough product for us rc'ers.

If this works as it is stated on paper, then this is even bigger than the evolution of the resistor type ESC to the Novak GTX. I'm tired of radio companies sticking it us with those $20 crystals.

Thank you.

I am just curious - Their website states that anytime you switch on your DSM-equipped transmitter and the DSM transceiver, the DSM module will scan the 79-channel spectrum available to it for an open channel. When a channel has been found, the DSM transceiver, which “listens” for your module’s distinct GUID, will lock on. To me this means that any interference will interrupt the lock on.

I think the question should be, are cell phone and any other devices included in this scanning for a clear frequency??

Default Multible cars

If you have more than one car, do you have to resync the radio to the current car you are running?
