spec-r xray gear diff mesh

hey all, recently built my first geardiff went together smoothly. but i think the gearmesh may be off because when i drive my car it makes a sound going around corners that sounds like a gear mesh issue.

i know to check the mesh before fluid is put inside, and if its too loose to put a .1 mill shim behind the pin and if its too tight to sand the large gears but i cant seem to get the right mesh and get this noise out of my car.

and no it is not a pin hung up somewhere on my car or a bearing, everything is free and smooth. it is a gear diff problem.

any ideas?

anybody have an idea? im running mod as well, so im starting to think that if it was the mesh, they would have stripped by now. maybe motor bearing?

did it happen from the first time you put it down with the gear diff. sounds like its gotta come apart.

Yo Austin, I sanded the backs of the gears till they will flat, filled her up, and the diff was still tight. After a few laps, it was perfect. Sounds like something is either bend or binding.
