I was just curious to find out how many tracks you guys might know of or have raced at that have baseball stadium style lighting on there outdoor track? AJ's Raceway in Dekalb Illinois has just installed this type of lightiing on the track and it is awesome. Thanks and check out the picture from saturday night. Thanks

well theres a track but they dont race at night. They only race at night during there points series over the summer. Its called Superior Hobbies. They race on Sunday now. The first sunday of the month. During the summer they race at night wich can be fun and difficult unless you have a bright body. Since they race in a parking lot there is only 1 street light to light th whole track. But it really doesnt. It only lights up mabye 2/3 of the track. Theres Superior Hobbies TQ hobbies, and if you like carpet oval theres a indoor carpet track called RPM Speedway.

If you want any more info PM and ill tell you more about those tracks.

I was really just curious to find out about tracks that are so well lit that you can see everything, for instance this track i pictured from Aj's raceway in Dekalb IL. has 4 poles 35 foot high in all 4 corners and each pole has four 1000 watt lights...it is incredible to see a track that is in my opinion awesome and then have 16,000 watts of light you need sunglasses on here...it was truely amazing

Matt - We were not out there to long just wanted to see how it was. You need to give it a try your Eddie Van Halen paint scheme will look great under the lights.

i would love to have a track that is flood lit in england...just that our nights seem to start so early this time of the year that we can't race anywhere in the evening outdoors..it kinda sucks.

talking about tq hobbies, their lighting is awesome. Nice white, clear light. Very well lit, not dark spots. Great when a breeze is going too, at night you get that breeze, its amazing.
