I assume this could be a sensor board issue, so looked for a replacement on rc10.com, couldn't find one....

Does anyone know where I might get one?

Thanks!

Any rollout suggestions for a Mach 2 10.5T boosted 1S WGT?

Also, what timing on the can? How much timing advance for boost and top speed ("turbo")?

Does the mach 2 21.5 come with a 12.5mm rotor or a 12.3?

Just got my first Sonic Mach 2 (the M3 isnt available in Germany) and I noticed a "strange" "clack" noise every time I psuh the car (so the the motor spins). Sounds like the clack appears every time the rotor hops another step.

Anyone know what I mean and what I hear?

Yes..... all motors do that to a point. the stronger the pull between the magnets and the coils produce a kind of snap to the next coil as the magnet turns due to the residual magnetism in the coil. Check your gear mesh and if it's too loose it can make this noise louder.

Everything went apart really well, but now I dont know how to get things back in one peace? the 3 parts on the left seem pretty clear (I would put them on the shaft in the way the picture shows) but where goes the little fella far on the left?

Really need help here

Hey Guys!

i ve been running a mach2 6.0T long time now with ceramic bearings the only thing i did to it.
Its been a few days till today that i took it apart it did some mumbly sounds in the gear mesh and i thought it was the sensor of the esc or something. but it wasnt. The motor struggles to turn the rotor at low RPM. i opened it, re-greased the bearings which roll just fine just like new and still nothing. its actually worse since i opened it. It just shakes the rotor at low rpm without spinning it.
Could it be the rotor dead , or...?

Thank you for your time!

Can anyone offer a recommended starting point for a Reedy Sonic Mach 2 21.5 for use in blinky touring car?

Been out of it for a little while, and don't want to kill the motor. Approximate FDR and timing recommendations please.

I'm still narrowing in on setting mine up, but I run approx 30 degrees timing with 3-3.2 FDR. It seems pretty close to where it needs to be. Adding more timing just seems to add more heat without any observable lap time improvements. That's for a fairly large flowing outdoor track.

On a 100' x 48' ozite track, I had mine between 3.6 and 4.0 fdr with just under 40' timing. Active cooling provided by a YR Tornado fan.
