The R1 wurks seem to be as powerful as the superior Hobbies fan without having to solder.... The R1 gets my vote for convenience !!!

NMB's cooling fans and blowers provide cooling solutions to your system thermal problems. The need for forced-air cooling by using an AC or DC axial fan or blower should be determined at an early stage in the system design. It is important that the design plans for good airflow to heat-generating components and allows adequate space and power for the cooling fan or blower.

Regards.
Andy.

The good thing about the fan mounts are that they will support other fans as well!

Your website doesn't have any information about the fan. I just went looking to purchase four and ended up buying a Superior Hobbies fan, because the info I found helped me make an informed decision.

I'm not convinced motor mounts are worth it, so far when testing with fans, I found they cooled better with what seemed less load on the fan, when spaced an extra 10-20mm further back from the motor, up close they seem to load up, and the air flow across the motor feels like it's less...

+1 Never wasted money on fan mounts as most position the fan too close for proper fan operation. I see many racers making this same mistake on their cars too.

You are crazy! It takes two R1 fans to get even close to the Superior Hobbies fan! I have seen the R1 fan in action and own a Superior Hobbies fan. I know!

I think it's crazy to buy a fan for $30. The new R1 Wurks fan, best motor fan Ive ever used for a decent price!

Ok. I bought an r1 wurks fan to put in my other car. It is the strongest fan that I have tried. Compared to my yeah racing fan which is wired direct to the esc, the r1 fan is still pusing a lot more air.

Looks like the r1 wurks fan is the best so far.

Only gripe, they should put air direction arrows on the side just for ease of installation.

Has anyone broken the R1 or Superior Hobbies fan? I know the Superior fan is way stronger than any other fan I've seen in that size. I know guys running them in 4x buggies and slamming them around, fan is still going strong. It may be $30 but it's not flimsy or going to give out anytime soon.
