Is this the 30mm fan thats on your website, or is that an old one? Do you have a list of shops/distributors (that ship to the UK) that are stocking these?

Got to see one of these R1wurks fan this weekend. It was a pretty good fan but sorry to say not as good as the Superior Hobbies fan. Maybe if it could be wired to esc +/- to get more power. I heard they sputter when wired that way?

they will burn if you plug directly to 8.4v or 7.4v, this are not designed to be used that way.

this fans are designed to plug in to a receiver at 6V. It was intended to run this way so that you get constant RPM thru out the race, regardless of what voltage your battery is putting out.

R1 fans are pushing 7-8 grams of thrust from the start of the race all the way to the end of an 8min main when you need it the most.

or even for practice if you run your packs all the way down to the cutoff voltage 6V, you are still consistently getting 7-8 grams of thrust until you shut down your car.

$15 for a very good fan, no soldering.clean plug & play wiring as we intended it to be.

I may not be a creditable source but I must say, yr tornado fans really works as advertised. After about a years worth of use, my fans are still kicking like I bought it yesterday. The 15 mins of continuous running for breaking really does help. My first fan didn't last as long as the other to due not breaking it in. I have one for my TA06 and cup racer. Both cars run at least 15 degrees depending on weather. I have used different fans before but the ability of the fan having the extra voltage really helps. I tried a different fan when the first tornado broke I don't remember the brand but, that didn't last the rest of the day. I would recommend the fan for on road use only. It seems to sort of wobble when disturbed.

I am using a Spektrum SR3300T Receiver and I cannot get power to the fan. Any clues as to what port I need to use? I am using a 3 pin connector, but not sure where the two +/- ports are.

Any help would be appreciated!

You sound very bias about the SEIS fans.

Now you just sound like your starting a smear campaign...

First you said you broke a couple of our old mounts & now this, I said that we guaranty all our parts and replace them for free. You never responded back with your address.

Obviously you have never tried our new fan. And that's ok, we shipped out over 250fans in 4 days and shipping out another 100 this week.

Show some proof, that they are better.

R1 30mm fans dont work on 8.4 or 7.4 volts

if you want the 40mm fans, yes they will work on 8.4v.

here's the 40mm fan vid
