I would like to see more than just output ratings on the fans available. Can the retailers (R1 Works, Hanulec etc) give us the amp draw of these super fans at 6v along with the output rating.
I wonder if we are getting to the point of deminishing returns with some of the current fans if the increased cooling effect is negated by amount of current draw they pull from our battery.

Anyone have any input or thoughts on this?

Yep. Pick one of the highly regarded fans and hook it up and run it.

Amp draw for these small brushless fans is negligible at best. Maybe 1/3 amp for the strongest fan on the market, and that's probably on the high side. I'll gladly take the hit on available current to the motor to ensure it lives to see another round. FWIW, most fans in this size category draw anywhere from 0.1A to 0.25A based on the specs I've located online for similar items.
