I read a thread about some rule saying that one needs at least ten posts before it's possible to posts pics. Will troll around threads for now. Thanks

Which R1 Wurks fan are you guys using? They have the 30 x 15 blower fan and then others that don't specify the depth?

Guys, i used to run a heat sink with dual fans mounted directly on my motor. I couldn't keep the temps down In a six minute run, near 170F. The other day I received a R1 30mm 8.4 volt fan directly from R1wurks. Wow, does it move a lot of air compared to my old fans! Before installation I checked the current draw. I was surprised to find that my old fans and the new R1 each consume .25 amps when connected directly to the battery. I installed the R1 with 2 sided tape about 10mm behind my motor (17.5/serpent s411TE) and soldered the leads directly to the battery terminals at the speed control. Today I went to the track for practice, the temps never got above 145F! Great fan R1wurks!

I've been running the gravity Rc fans for a good while now and have been very pleased. When paired with the rsd fan mount it's an impossible combo to beat.

I switched to the F5 fan from Superior Hobbies/Specialized RC and my motor temp immediately dropped 40* degrees.

Worth the investment.

Do you have any ratings for the 30mm & 25mm fans at 6V?
Who distributes them in the UK?

Thanks

The R1 30mm and the WTF 40mm fans both work really well. Neither fan will disappoint.
